The I.S.M.O. Model
The Spectrum Group Independent Sales, Marketing & Operations (I.S.M.O.) business model is often emulated, but few companies have the will or resource to invest in the infrastructure and expertise to implement it successfully.

Delivery of the three facets of the Spectrum I.S.M.O. model frees up the Company's semiconductor manufacturing partners to concentrate their resource where it belongs, on the development of their Intellectual Property (IP) and the key strategic decisions that will ensure their future progress. As an extension of the manufacturer's sales, marketing and technical resource, Spectrum Nordic is never satisfied with the status quo, ever seeking closer and deeper working relationships with its customers and manufacturing partners and constantly striving for greater product and market understanding.

No less importantly, the success of the I.S.M.O. model is dependent on close partnerships with the manufacturer's appointed distributor(s): The quality of sales effort and fulfilment management provided by distributors can make or break a customer's relationship with a manufacturer. It's a key part of the I.S.M.O. business model to assist distributors to gain and maintain sufficient market share and so ensure that nothing hampers their ability to deliver on these two critical business elements.
